A new women’s colorway of the Nike Special Field nike air force 1 mid 07 will be making its way to retailers tomorrow as today we bring you one more detailed look at the Mushroom colorway. Covered in a light cream (Mushroom) all throughout the tumbled leather and ballistic nylon upper, this military-inspired Air Force 1 is hit with gold on the eyelets and zippers on the heel for a nice added pop. Tonal branding is seen on the text placed on the lateral ankle, ankle straps, and the heel pull tabs. Down below we have a contrasting Light Bone sole unit that completes the look on this Special Field Air Force 1 Mid.
Nike’s seasonal favorite Special Field nike air force 1 mid camo (aka SF AF-1) is back in a big way for fall/winter ’17, and yesterday, the brand unveiled an exclusive style paying homage to the sneaker’s storied past. The story of the Nike Special Field Air Force 1 “For Baltimore” traces back to 1984, which was a significant turning point for the original Air Force 1 model. As the story goes, Nike had halted production of the Bruce Kilgore-designed sneaker just two years after its launch. Inside, the shoe’s insoles are printed with comic book-inspired patterns. Rounding out the package is a special-edition box and comic book illustrated by artist Ed Piskor that covers the history of the time-tested sneaker.
Along with the nike air force 1 mid olive “Black Leather” pack, the Air Force 1 Mid is also getting its own set of black leather colorways with various-colored Swooshes this fall. Today we preview three color options for the Air Force 1 Mid with full-grain black leather constructions and reflective Swooshes in Court Purple, Neptune Green, and plain white. Seeming to offer the same feel as the now defunct VLONE collaborations, these should be relatively sought after colorways with a little less of the hype.
