The Oregon Ducks men s basketball program is in the mix for a number of elite prospects https://www.uobasketballjersey.com/char ... y-c-6.html, including the top two talents in the class of 2018, R.J. Barrett and Bol Bol.

But Oregon hopes to become a serious contender for another elite prospect with an in home visit this week.

According to Rivals national recruiting expert Corey Evans https://www.uobasketballjersey.com/tyle ... y-c-5.html, Dana Altman is scheduled to be in Wisconsin for an in home visit with elite four star shooting guard Tyler Herro on Wednesday

The 6 foot 5, 195 pound athlete, out of Milwaukee Kavell Bigby-Williams Jersey, Wisconsin, is rated the nation s No. 36 prospect by 247Sports composite ratings, No. 38 by Scout and No. 38 by Rivals.

Herro first received an offer from the Ducks in July 2016, but committed to Wisconsin in October over offers from Arizona, Florida https://www.uobasketballjersey.com/mj-c ... y-c-4.html, Indiana, Iowa State, Marquette, Purdue and several others.

That changed suddenly earlier this month when the Badgers in state class headlner announced he was decommitting from Wisconsin and re opening his pledge.

After a lot of conversations with my family and prayer I have decided to reopen my recruitment and explore all of my options, he wrote on Twitter. The past year since I was committed I have grown not only as a basketball player, but as a person. My drive to become the best on all levels has been the fuel that drove my decision.

Oregon already holds commitments from five star small forward Louis King and four star power forward Miles Norris, but also appears to be the favorite for five star center Bol Bol and four star guard Will Richardson.

This week, it seems Altman is hoping to add Herro to the list of strong possibilities.
